Neembu Pani / Squenjbeen
A healthy drink to quench your thirst is Shikanjabeen. It is a cold drink made from lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar and water. These ingredients are blended together. To enhance the taste of shikanjabeen, black salt is added. It is a desi Pakistani version of Lemonade and a favourite drink in Ramadan.

Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized lemons
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
Directions
- Cut the lemons into halves and extract the juice into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and water until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the lemon juice, salt, black salt, and roasted cumin powder to the sugar syrup. Stir well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Add ice cubes to the mixture.
- Serve chilled.
